Welcome to Lynx Lax′s home on the web!

Lynx Lax is a Summer and Fall season program dedicated to supporting the growth of NorthWest Connecticut Lacrosse with a convenient location and affordable fees.

The Connecticut Lynx tournament teams allow for all players to get college level coaching and to face high level competition. The Lynx coaches will focus on teaching the appropriate level of skills and concepts. During the summer and fall, the teams will compete at three levels 5th / 6th grade, 7th / 8th grade and  High School. It is our belief that the combination of high level practices and participation with other players from the region is a means to improve skills and compete at a higher level but also to build friendships and enjoy this great lacrosse experience.

Lynx Lacrosse Fall 2010
by posted 08/11/2010

Lynx had a great summer of Lacrosse.  The High School kids played games twice a week against some good competition.  The Middle School kids played some very competitive games against some tough teams.  As expected, summer ball was very casual.  Fall is expected to be different.

I have found when working with Unparalleled Lacrosse; we can offer our kids a good consistent game experience, therefore we will again enroll in their fall league.  Lynx will also play in two regional tournaments.

Lynx will carry 2 teams, a 7/8thgrade team and a High School team.  Sixth graders are welcome on the 7/8thgrade team.

The fall session will run from September 12 to November 14.  From September 12 - October 31 will be games scheduled every Sunday in Wilton or Norwalk.  Middle School games will be in the morning, High School games in the afternoon.  Many of you attended the UMass tournament years ago, that is scheduled for November 7.  Fairfield will have their tournament on November 14.  Fairfield has not confirmed they will have a 7/8 grade division.  If they don’t, I will find an alternative.

Many of you have pineys and shorts.  Rather than offer those again, a Lynx hoodie and T-shirt will be guaranteed to the first 40 registered players.  For new Lynx players, I do have a limited number of pineys available for $20 (my cost).
The fall session cost will be $300 per player.  The $300 includes 8 weeks of games and two tournaments.

Every player must have a current US Lacrosse member registration.  Any player who is playing youth lacrosse is probably already registered.  Since it is not required by some Varsity HS programs, it is likely some of the High School players do not have a current registration.  US Lacrosse registration costs $25 annually and is payable to US Lacrosse during the Lynx registration.

Registration will only be available online on the LynxLax web site.  At this time I cannot take credit cards. Registration HAS begun.

Feel free to contact me.
