posted 05/11/2009 The Connecticut Lynx coaching staff is proud to announce the first summer season of the Connecticut Lynx Elite Lacrosse U13/ U16/U18 Tournament Programs this summer.
The Connecticut Lynx tournament teams allow for all players chosen to get college level coaching and to face high level competition. The Lynx coaches will focus on teaching college level skills and concepts. The teams will compete at Three levels (7th and 8th), (9th and 10th grade) Junior Varsity and (11th and 12th grade) Varsity. Each team will have evaluation sessions, then two practice sessions a week incorporated into three tournaments selected in an effort to seek out the best competition. It is our belief that the combination of college level practices and participation in the Summer Tournament circuit provides players of all age levels a means to improve their skills and compete at a high level but also to build friendships and enjoy this great experience. All summer practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
Tournaments are tentatively scheduled, see list in the right column, and may include Saturday play for Junior Varsity levels, and Sunday play for Varsity levels. Each player will be scheduled for only one day of the weekend and one overnight may be required.
Each session will include drill work and competition allowing players to showcase their skills.

Program Fees: $525.00 for 9th thru 12th grade and $275 for 7th and 8th grades; this includes all tournament fees. The following Lynx Lacrosse gear package is included: Game Shorts, Game Pinnie, Shooting shirt.
